Custodial nursing care is now available to all * eligible Texas Master Masons and other qualified individuals. In the past, only existing residents were allowed to move to this area.
At Texas Masonic Retirement Community, our Nursing Care Area provides

- Assistance with daily living necessities and special needs
Residents living in this area receive help with these needs and more–

- Hair styling
- Laundry
Activities in the nursing care area are specially planned. Fun and laughter are so important to overall quality of life. These folks get up and go, with frequent offsite and onsite events.
Visits to residents living in the Nursing Care Area are encouraged.
Open communication with families and residents is vital to caring for residents. We plan quarterly meetings with residents, adult children, spouses, and other caregivers with updates on new services and opportunities to voice concerns or offer suggestions. We also welcome questions at any time as we believe in the need to keep communication open and easy.
Long-term Care Ombudsman Program – Texas Health & Human Services Commission
A long-term care ombudsman helps residents of a nursing facility and residents of an assisted living facility resolve complaints. Help provided by an ombudsman is confidential and free of charge. To speak with an ombudsman, a person may call the toll-free number 1-800-252-2412.
