My two sons were very concerned about me living alone. They encouraged me to look at other options.

That’s when I decided to move to Texas Masonic Retirement Community. This is a far better place for me.

I have my own room and get to enjoy meals with friends. If I’m not doing well, the staff delivers meals to my room. They drive me to the doctor and take care of my medicine. And, I’m involved in Sweet Home Lodge and all the other activities they offer here.”

Joe joined Brooklyn Lodge #386 in Forney nearly 20 years ago. “I was always fascinated by Masons and the people I met who were involved. I joined and never looked back.”

When Joe’s medical problems overwhelmed him, his years as a dedicated Mason allowed him to move to TMRC. This option is available to all qualified older Texas Masons, their wives, widows, mothers, never-married daughters, and never-married sisters.

The No Mason Left Behind Project helps provide older Texas Masons in need and their qualified loved ones with all-inclusive 24 hours a day/7 days a week accommodations at Texas Masonic Retirement Community--including medical services and nursing care. The cost of these benefits exceeds $2.5 million annually.
