We want to assure you that your qualified parent, relative, or friend will be provided with the finest accommodations and amenities, planned to meet any lifestylel and budget.

Who can move to Texas Masonic Retirement Community?
Check out our eligibility requirements below–

Texas Master Mason* or a member of the Order of the Eastern Star-Texas
OR
Relative of a Texas Master Mason* 
–Wife
–Widow**
–Mother
–Never-married daughter
–Never-married sister

* Texas Master Mason is(was) in good standing with a Texas Lodge. This is defined as a Texas Lodge under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of Texas or a Texas Chapter working under the jurisdiction of the Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Texas for five (5) years preceding the application to move to Texas Masonic Retirement Community.

**Widows must have been continuously married to the eligible Mason for three years. If a widow remarries to a non-Mason, she becomes ineligible. 

We also welcome members of the Texas Order of the Eastern Star (OES).
OES members qualify through continuous good standing in a Texas Chapter under the jurisdiction of the Grand Chapter of Texas OES, for five years preceding the application to our facility. Please call Texas Masonic Retirement Community at 817-275-2893 for more info on OES eligibility requirements.

Payment Options

We offer two payment options for those meeting eligibility requirements. Regardless of payment option choice, all residents receive the same services and amenities offered by Texas Masonic Retirement Community. Payment options are described below:

Option 1: Payment for Services

With the “Payment for Services” option, you may choose from any of our wide range of accommodations. All residents enjoy meals, housekeeping, and much more.

Nursing Care AreaNEW AVAILABILITY!  
We now welcome all qualified Texas Master Masons and qualified Masonic families. In the past, this area was limited to current residents of TMRC. Learn more about our eligibility requirements.

Residents of the Nursing Care Area are offered the payment for services option only.

Rates starting as low as $148.50 per day

Option 2: Legacy Plan

The Legacy Plan allows Texas Master Masons* and their qualified relatives to live at Texas Masonic Retirement Community free of charge. In exchange for this benefit, you agree to turn over all your assets prior to move in. This includes, but is not limited to, any and all residences, automobiles, savings accounts, real estate, stocks, bonds, etc. This option includes a five-year financial look-back period. 

With this option, you receive all the benefits of living at Texas Masonic Retirement Community including a cozy and comfortable apartment in our Historic Main Building, meals, housekeeping, and a wide variety of activities and other services in exchange for the transfer of all your assets.

Long-term Care Ombudsman Program – Texas Health & Human Services Commission
A long-term care ombudsman helps residents of a nursing facility and residents of an assisted living facility resolve complaints. Help provided by an ombudsman is confidential and free of charge. To speak with an ombudsman, a person may call the toll-free number 1-800-252-2412.
